It’s always the neutral that pisses me off in general. It’s rare for some mixup stuff to get me salty. So with mika the salt comes from cr.hp and charged hk and jump buttons, plus her cr.mk and st.mk being good pokes/counter pokes.
The only mixup thing mika has that makes me salty is her fhp because it gives her multiple guesses on block.
It’s frustrating to get reset by cr.mp and then say (she’s going to frame trap and not command grab as I land) then correctly block the fhp, then be in another 50/50 whether she will frame trap or command grab on the st.lp… And then guess correctly and block the st.lp, then think the she going to command grab and try to jump… But she did st.mp and confirms it.
It feels like to get out against mika you have to guess right 3 times just to be successful and that the biggest problem I find about fighting her, to the poi that I think the only really nerf she needs is fhp to be negative on block.
You all here who complains about R. Mika has proven that
-They have less than 50% win rate in SFV and/or a shitty ratio overall
-They have under 1000 games in SFV, general lack of experience (Don’t give me that offline play nothing)
-Probably less than 500 hours in the game, and probably less than 30 minutes in training mode

Let’s be honest, Street Fighter V isn’t that good looking. Sure, it’s not KOF XIV, and I’m not saying it’s that bad but it’s not as good as what I expected in 2014, when the game was announced.
Characters can look great (I’m especially thinking about Chun-Li, Ryu or Necalli here, coincidently, the poster characters) but others can look like trash (I’m disgut everytime I see Mika’s win pose, and not because I lost against a Mika). SFX are great. The problem is the rest, stages are kinda bland, look washed out and let’s not even talk about the shitties NPC (there are exception, like Forgotten Waterfall at night and ironically, the training stage). And there is also its art style but here, it depends on your appreciation of the style (not a fan but I don’t mind its modelling clay look)

If you have a meterless reversal, you have no right to bitch about Mika set ups. I get how it feels oppressive if you play someone like FANG or Vega who struggles under pressure, but if Mika’s opening up Ryu/Ken/Cammy/Necalli, that’s something which could be challenged but isn’t.
Especially if you’re Ryu or Necalli, those two probably have the best clutch defensive toolset in the game.
Mika is just scary to fight due to her character archetype. Even if she gets nerfed, I can’t imagine looking forward to playing her.
Ryu’s AA jab is fucking bullshit and I stand by this 100%. Call me a fucking scrub but if you can stuff my fucking jump ins with a light tap you’re fucking dumpster tier. I’m fine with Alex having a AA jab because he’s trash can tier but Ryu and Cuckkalli? Naw son get outa here with that bullshit.
It’s…like…20-30 damage. That’s nothing. Of course at the same time capcom could just implement a priority system for air attacks so jabs would only beat air jabs.
