I might actually get T7 now that I think about it. It’s the only FG other than SF that I know I enjoy (I like DOA too, but not as much as Tekken).

I dropped SF4 to play Injustice and MKX after I got sick of Guy sucking even after multiple buffs.
They were fun games, but NRS games will never have the competitive depth of SFV because spacing will always be a joke in them. Hit forward on the joystick then hit backward on a SF game, then try doing it in an NRS game. In SF, movement stops the moment your joystick leaves the directional input. In NRS games, the characters take “steps”, so the your character’s movement will always lag a little behind your directional input. Once you’ve experienced this you’ll understand that NRS footsies will always be a pale shadow of what footsies are like in Capcom games.
People who shit on SFV for having more input lag than MKX have obviously never actually played MKX otherwise they’ll know that, input lag or not, your movements in SFV can be played much more precisely than they can in MKX.
I might play Injustice 2 because Doomsday and Flash were ridiculously fun in Injustice, but as someone who genuinely wanted to like Injustice more than I liked SF4, I’m gonna be real- Injustice 2 will never have the competitive depth that SFV has.
of course there’s no problem for consumers… Capcom and game companies should be on notice that we can always find another good game to play and wont blindly support based solely on name brand and past history. Luckily SFV IMO has GREAT core gameplay…

I like both but on a superficial casual level.
The matchmaking in this game is seriously fucked. I’ve been trying to make it into gold for the last three days now, but they keep matching me up with bronze level players that I’m only getting 5 and 10 points from. I regularly rack up a 15-20 game win streak which doesn’t mean shit because I’m not getting any points from these guys. To make it even worse if one of them manages to beat me all the points I’ve gotten for the day is gone just from one loss.

Yeah im 7100 lp in Ultra Gold and im pretty much not rematching anyone that isn’t gold or super gold anymore. Too much of a time sink to play these random ass silvers that will tank your score if you lose even one match to them. Thats how id get myself blown up is beating a super silver for not much points, they adapt to me in the rematch and I lose 150 points. Yeah not going to finish the 2 outta 3 with the possibility of losing another 150

…that said I am one of those who is looking forward to seeing what Injustice 2 has in store. I enjoyed the first one well enough (Green Arrow ftw), hopefully the sequel improves on everything. Especially the netcode…
