Haha when I called you ass I was just talking shit, I didn’t really mean if like that. You took some games off of me so you can’t be that bad.

One thing I noticed it’s that you dash A LOT. .
You still blew me up for dashing quite a few times in spite of the lag. I am completely aware that this is a really bad habit I need to work on. You aren’t the first person to point this out to me. I’ve had two people point out to me in person at this local tourney I attend weekly. Another person pointed it out to me online too a couple weeks ago too.
But yeah I’m fucking awful at Street Fighter. Not only did I tell you this here, you told me directly that I was awful in another thread. So this is no surprise. But since you seem to be a strong player I would like to play you again once I get a wired connection going. Maybe the lag won’t be so bad then. I like to play people that are better than me. It’s more fun for me that way. Plus I learn a lot more from better players.

Yeah @“Spinning Beat” let’s not count these matches. Shit was laggiest I’ve ever played God damn.
Yeah it was not good at all. I tried to play my best in it but it was damn near unplayable for me.
I’m going to buy one of those really long ethernet cables. I play wireless because I have no choice. The router is too far from my console for any of the ethernet cables I do have. That wireless shit is awful though.
This is what I use
(not the exact brand, but the same technology)
How does that work?
Do you connect the adapter to the wifi , plug it in and then put your ethernet to the device? Does doing so really simulate a wired connection, flawlessly? That could be the solution to my problems.
Yes, it runs the signal through your existing electrical system, using those wires. One adapter goes near the router, and plugs directly. Another goes near your PS4, and then plugs in via the ethernet there as well. I have a fairly big house, and it works pretty well. I’ve heard of people who actually end up having issues with it, I think it might depend on your electrical setup maybe, but for me it was a godsend so I could play SFV without lag.
What brand do you use?
I’m thinking about getting one.
This is the one I have, pulled from my Amazon history
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HSQAIQU/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Might want to research more, Ive looked at everything from people saying Powerline is the same as ethernet, to saying Wifi blows powerline out of the water. All I know in my case is it worked wonders for my PS4 setup, especially since the wifi singal is blocked thanks to a brick wall. I was using a wifi signal relay before, but that was really slow.
how is balrogs having a “stubby” jab a good thing? The dude says he prefers SF2 Balrog over SF4 but didnt he have an amazing jab in that? Does the 3 frame jab only meant for characters who were in beta’s 1 and 2? th

I’m not that great but I’m certainly not ass. Only person I’ve challenged here that’s blown me so far is deviljin, but that was a week or two after I got the game and Ryu was still new to me, I’m waiting for my revenge. @flighflighflugit and I are even (he beat my Karin 5-4, I beat him with Ryu 5-4). If you were in the US I would beat dat ass, but you’ll have to just take my word for it.
Uh,back jump kunai no more guyz.
Uh,back jump kunai no more guyz.
sad kazoo
I guess that also means juris divekick is also no longer able to do jump back dive kicks either.

Only way Capcum can get me back in SFV is if they fix the 8f input delay. Story mode looks cool, I’ll sit down and watch it for 4 hours. But to put back time into their game and buy costumes and shit? Fix the input delay, no ifs and butts. I enjoy SFV despite certain short-comings, but input delay is one I refuse to put up with. Fix it, and I’m back, all I ask.

Who is that dude with the red cape?
Rolento in his Udon costume
in first ten minutes video was that suppose to be Sean with the lil Gameboy thing? if so I don’t like the redesign at all…everything looks really good tho

Update news:
My god
I just nutted

“Story doesn’t matter in fighting games”
“But Urien will be playable in SF5 in story mode”
“STORY MODE MATTERS IN FIGHTING GAMES! MORE STORIES PLEASE”
[smashes that muphuging agree button]

I don’t either, but the more I think about it, I’m just bias for sprites. If a character was in sprites before, chances are I’m not going to prefer their 3d design.
Still no daily challenges, 4€ a premium costume or are they in pack?? That’s insane even worse than DOA and…

Anyone post the Balrog notes yet?
http://venturebeat.com/2016/06/09/balrogs-back-5-minutes-with-street-fighter-vs-boxer/
Like most Street Fighter V fans, I’m not exactly shocked that Balrog, the mad Boxer, is coming soon. Except unlike everyone else, Balrog’s release elicited a feeling of dread for me, as opposed to excitement.
I don’t want a repeat of Street Fighter IV‘s version of Balrog.
When it comes to Balrog’s design, I’m a purist. I prefer the pure rush down of the boxer’s Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting and Super Street Fighter II Turbo roots. In Street Fighter IV, this playstyle transformed into something more passive and annoying.
Capcom’s Peter “ComboFiend” Rosas gave me a chance to do a quick playtest of the Street Fighter V version of Balrog, while checking out Street Fighter V’s new and improved story mode. It was a quick 2-3 minute test at most, and Rosas had to stay tight lipped about the details of the character, but I can at least detail what little I discovered.
No more jabbing out of trouble
One of the more obvious changes to Balrog in Street Fighter V is that Jab Punch (light punch) has been toned down. In Street Fighter IV, Balrog’s standing and crouching Jab were some of the quickest moves in the game, with a fairly decent reach as well. This allowed a Balrog player to counter other characters’ pressure set ups simply by slapping crouching Jab.
Even worse, or better if you’re the Balrog player, crouching Jab often led to larger combos in Street Fighter IV.
It’s not that the Street Fighter IV version of Balrog’s Jab was “cheap.” Like any decently designed element of Street Fighter, Balrog’s Jab could be baited and punished. The larger problem is that SFIV’s Jab made playing Balrog from a defensive position a much more lucrative strategy than adopting his classic offensive rush down play style.
Balrog’s new Jab in Street Fighter V is slower, but it can still 2-in-1 into some special moves.
It’s definitely not the monster it was in Street Fighter IV.
I instantly told Rosas that I liked that change, and he nodded.“A less Jabby version” of the Balrog design, is how Rosas put it.
Buffalo Headbutt is gone! So what’s taken its place?
Balrog Street Fighter IV Buffalo Headbutt Chun-LiBuffalo Headbutt was an attack introduced to Balrog’s moveset in Super Street Fighter II Turbo, and this enabled Balrog to both attack diagonally upward while passing through projectiles at the same time. It had a duel purpose, acting as both an anti-air move, and a way to move Balrog forward to apply positional pressure against projectile heavy characters like Ryu and Sagat.
In Street Fighter IV, Buffalo Headbutt took on an even more deadly trait, as it allowed a player to juggle an opponent into a guaranteed Ultra. The good part of that situation is that it rewarded Balrog players for catching their opponent throwing a fireball at the wrong time, from the wrong place. The frustrating part was that crouching Jab could combo into a Buffalo Headbutt, making any offense against Balrog incredibly dangerous.
Stubby jabs. No headbutt. Balrog mains on suicide watch again.
Jokes on you, I always thought Headbutt looked retarded.

No theres no bias Sean is just straight ugly. He looks nothing like his art, his sprites, or his in game story art. They fucked his model up hella bad. That shits the Ken face except it’s a whole head and hair.
