fireball wisky, mmmm, my favorite, i have tons of small little bottles of that in my closet, not much of a drinker though. I always drink enough to just get buzzed on chill mode, not the type to get super drunk, hang overs are absolutely horrible, and you NEVER wanna be that person who’s throwing up in the bath room while everyone else is still having fun in the middle of the night if you happen to get sick AT the event, party, or kick back.
@Lion_jak GG’s again man. I had a bunch of adjustments I’ve been trying to use whenever I run into a Juri like yours. It helped a little but you seem to have it figured out by the 3rd game. Back to the drawing board again. At least I got one this time lol.
Kind of random but I was watching some high level Samsho 2, and while I’ve never been able to get into Guilty Gear, a new SamSho developed by Arcsys with maybe some old-school Snk employees on as consultants would be the shit.
I was playing a lot of Karin and Kolin yesterday, and found myself playing SFV training mode/Trials for 3 hours. o_o That’s a record, I got flashbacks of 2012 SF4 try hard days.
Twinnnnnnnnn! I also think of Twin when I play Kolin, TWIN IS THE PHYSICAL MANIFESTATION OF KOLIN MADE REAL, I refuse to think otherwise.
I also think of Punk’s godlike hit confirms when I play Karin. But nothing will be on the level of Xian playing Gen, he made an old man (Zeku looks dope, Gen does not) like Gen look dope.
I’m glad you picked up on some adjustments for the matchup. I could tell you were being more patient with your fireballs. I think the funniest thing to do as a juri player is capitalize on her fireball.
Sakura can’t come soon enough… Even though I’m still hoping for AE to make Juri unfairly OP I know that might not be the case and the more I think of playing sakura
Surely Juri gonna get something, but Capcom can’t buff the player behind the character, so you need to git gud anyway. There’s an high possibility of Sakura being OP at first, but I hope not. I don’t want to face a Sakura army like the Yun army was in SF4 AE.
I know I need to get better at the game, I never denied that, I don’t have the time nor the age to do so sadly, I am takin 1 step at the time.
But please try and keep getting under my skin, is cute.
Fireball Whisky was my drink of choice for high school house parties.
With beer you either had to put in the fridge, and get some teefed; or keep in a backpack, and drink warm beer; and mixed drinks were a PITA altogether. A 26’er of Fireball Whisky didn’t necessarily need to be cold (though it was better), could be drank straight, and allowed me to walk around drink in hand, ready to go all of the time. Those were the days.
I’m not a pro, I’m not a teen anymore, I’m working almost 10hrs every day… You said right, you have to take 1 step at the time. If you know what happens on the screen you’re already going into the right direction. Even if I played fgs the most, I’ve started being ‘good’ when I forced myself to work harder on every aspect of the game. After being destroyed at my first tournament in SF4 I’ve changed my approach, stop asking for help and go through the DIY route and A LOT of training, alone or against friends. Without noticing I ended up being the strongest player with Makoto in SF4 in my country, that’s why I’m so attached to that character. Sometimes you need to use a character who force you to change your mental approach, look at @TWINBLADES . Leaving Cammy behind for Kolin helps him, he was a generic gold player before learning Kolin. If he does everybody can.
