Never thought about the matchups Chun wins, but she’s probably like most of the lower tiers where she doesn’t lose a ton of matchups very badly, just doesn’t really get too many winning matchups and loses to high tier.

He shuts down stores. Nothing else really. He can bypass neutral easily but usually in those situations he is unsafe and juri players like to backdash all the time. So it’s not like your looking at your character to get your stores. It shouldn’t be as automatic to just store in neutral. A lot of juri players aren’t thinking of times to store.
A lot of the upper echelon of juri players, Gain their stores full screen or as soon as neutral is reset. If you see rashid actually contemplating how to attack you. You can gain a store in that moment.
But if you’re constantly failing at utilizing those stores then why use them.
She doesn’t need stores. You can gain them on knockdown if you want them. You can play keep out. All she needs is vskill and hk store. Lk store is for footsies not unga.
He has weak pressure till he has you in the corner. Even then you can ex ryo out of whirlwind pressure.
And most people are scared of -2 pressure. Especially when the threat of his reversal comes into play. But I just challenge when he has no meter.
Cr.lk is 0 on block. And cr.hp has 10f startup I think. The same as juri st.hk and I’m sure most of the playerbase see the failings of that move as a CC button. So you can stuff cr.hp with weaker buttons. St.mk is a godsend.
A rashid that can time his dive kick to be plus on block are the ones to be frightened of. It can be jarring. I play bushinstyles quite a lot.
There is little tech like this out there that helps against the bunga. Difficult in application but doable.
I used to really suck in the matchup. But now I’m 86% confident in it. My shortcomings in the matchup are usually storing stupidly and not opting for dp AA.

you could, but it’s slow as shit, -4 and will be pretty useless. It’s exclusive use is as damage extension, that’s really it.
Only way to buff it is it buff it’s damage output tbh, MK.release is linear as fuck and making it an overhead makes sense because of how it looks but wouldn’t offer up much.
I want to believe that Chun-Li can beat out Gief as well, but that might be pushing it, considering what the latter is capable of.
And, I find it quite endearing that you have a Mai AV up now. Her birthday just happens to around the corner.

I am not knowledgeable in comparison to other Zeku players but Chun does quite well in that MU. Haven’t tried Young much though so grain of salt!
Zeku blockstrings whiff on Chun’s crouching hurtbox and he can’t do st.mk > st.mp as a blockstring vs. her, or st.mp > st.mp

They can keep it negative since it can be converted into LK release… but make it faster, slight damage buff + overhead like I said a year ago. If it’s so meh then there shouldn’t be an issue with these changes. I know it’ll never happen but I would like to make use of her other stores for swag.
