I never felt like I had no options on that level. I literally had no idea of what to do.
From what i remember from our matches yesterday, my advice to you in neutral is just be patient (thats so twisted coming from a nigga who loses due to his lack of patience lol). You said something like my defense was unnerving yesterday, man all that was was me trying to see what your approach was and trying to counter it.
IMO it felt like when you saw me sit there and do nothing you felt like you had to do something, and when you approach Chun like that you’re going to eat buttons from her.

reinstalled SFV and went on a long session with Nash. oddly, having trouble against Alex since you can’t use booms against him if you see him charging. his EX elbow absorbs hits so can’t really always outfootsie him. get knocked down and it’s the f.hp mix up into death. if i’m beating his ass i have to stop once he’s got VT. it’s an interesting MU. i mean, i expect to lose to Boxer but Alex seems built to fight fireball styles.
Playing vs Kolin is where 3rd Strike experience comes in handy. They think they’re slick trying to negate the ground game and pressure with her counter and v-skill and I’m like “Bitch, I know what you’re up to! You didn’t just whiff the move with deceptive recovery in front of me for no reason and I KNOW you’re trying to match my button rhythm, that’s why I hit that ass mid instead of low!” I got them hoes in MY genjutsu, not the other way around lol.
V-skill is a free cr. MK xx Legs/SBK punish. They have to be really smart with how they use it or I’m taking that free damage/knockdown every time.
Her j. HK is still bullshit though. 'Gotta be extra precise on the anti-airs vs that shit.
-Part of me really hopes my anti-air damage and stun will be higher in Season 3. The risk of jumping is so low that I run into baddies that’ll legit go for that shit 5 times in a row, even if I answer it 5 times. At least reward me with a full stun bar on my opponent for calling it out that many times. Jeez.

I still don’t understand why anyone would play Chun outside of being a dumb loyalist like me. You can play Guile, do a small fraction of the effort and win.
They really didn’t think Guile well through.
I second what @Deadpool_Merc said. Don’t always try to start offence. Be patient and see what your opponent is trying to do on offence and counter it.
Also, and I still struggle with this, but you seem to throw projectiles and do jump-ins at predictable times.
The only time you should really try for a jump-in is when you make a read on your opponent throwing out a move that will prevent them from AA’ing you.
If me and my opponent are standing around in neutral and are within jump-kick range, I am always looking for a jump-in so my AA’s are on usually on point. You seem to jump-in during these situations a lot… Don’t worry, I do it too.
When in doubt, walk forward and block.

He did have it, it’s just that it was one of the worst parts of his otherwise godlike toolset. It’s prime use was RC-ing it to get out of the corner iirc
CvS2 Vega was mostly abusing his insane walkspeed and normals, with some roll-cancel RCF and A-grove custom combos thrown in just to make him even more annoying.

Everyone will have their chance by time season 5 of not having to work hard, relax.
