Back when I had 6mbps down 1mbps up I was getting basically the same quality online matches.
This would probably not be the case for mobas like Dota however, those might need a dedicated 6-10mbps download 2mbps upload by default.

I queue for casual and ranked matches at the same time, my epeen is big enough at super plat right now not to worry about ranked for ranked’s sake, I just want to get more games in.
That said, I’d say I get abotu 3 casual games per ranked matched, with a wait time of about maaaaybe a minute max between games. Seems like casual is more popular in my region.
