So I went back to playing Alex for fun and I think Iost all my Ft3 sets tonight…
good times.
S3 give Alex an air DDT
Gonna have to disagree here, the online is kind of ass in SFV in general. I’m in Asia where everyone pretty much has at least 100Mbps (and I got 500Mbps) and I still get some laggy shit and minor discrepancies, as I said the other day, I learned that if you’re -1 and you press a 4 frame you beat a 3 framer.

I think time is a factor possibly in quality of Ranked matches. I’ve figured out that if you go on at peakish times ( just after or around about dinner) it generally is ok.
It’s when you can’t get games though , I think it reaches out further because I will always get someone from Singapore late at night when it’s presumably given up searching Australia.
Bottom line is there match making system is badly designed with no way to tweak it to suit. Signal strength means jack shit.
I also figured out that the quality of your line makes no difference. My father in laws Internet is around 5 times faster up and down both ways with a slightly better ping. No difference in the opponents lag ( because I play the same people quite a lot).
I haven’t played SFV online in like 3 weeks. I’ma go online in a couple minutes and see how long it takes to find a ranked match. It’s usually never more than a minute for me.
Bison removes his hat on costumes that don’t have a hat and Ibuki removes her mask on costumes that don’t have a mask.
Don’t worry about Capcom being consistent.
There’s also the possibility that just nobody plays Ranked. Some characters can swing an entire match based on one lag spike and that’s enough to make men bleed between the legs.
Black list also would have diluted the numbers with scrubs putting any good opponent on their list.
I know I’ve only played about a thousand matches which is fuck all really. That’s like one long weekend for Twinblades.
Just went online for the first time in like 3 weeks or more.
Started up ranked. Took 15 seconds to immediately match me vs an Ultra Plat Ken. Beat him twice, now I’m going back to playing more crack.
Conclusion: You guys live in caves near waterfalls and borrow Walmart’s WiFi
Your situation might be worst, actually. If you can’t find a match in Aus you should be thrown into near asian regions, but in the last 2 months the connection between Aus and Asia has been shit on peak times because an underwater cable that basically connects Australia to asia was severed. I have experienced this the other hand since I play WoW on Oceanic servers and suddenly I found myself going from a respectable 140ms of ping to peaks of a lovely 6k ping. In general in the weekend has been between 1 and 2k ms, so much so that I made a game out of it. I do a wikipedia search of the year corresponding to my ping and chose a fact from it and post it in chat. I learned a lot.

Nigga you live in the middle of population dense America with mad liberals collecting food stamps and wic living on section 8 with nothing but time on their hands.
We live in bumblefuck Australia with coal driven powerplants and hamster powered ISP cable companies and people that actually have to work for a living.
You talking about getting games quickly in the states is like you bragging about getting gold in the special olympics.

I don’t like turning on fight request on SFV, cause I find matches way too fast, and I never get time to warm up in training mode.
You realise that they all use the same cable and just charge different prices right? It’s like changing your underpants in the hope it’ll make your balls bigger.
Is it possible to have have rollback so subtle that your directional input gets stuck in a direction? This has been happening to me lately and it’s driving me crazy. All of my connections have been shit today. Lost around 2000 or so points. Fuck.
I dunno. With technology you usually can’t just get lucky. There’s always math to it. It’s possible that certain area clients or IPs jive better with Capcom’s servers, but I wouldn’t purely put it on being part of the Illuminati or anything.
I know. I just wanted to emphasize that by going online once and seeing. Now I’ll go back to the luxuries for not playing for 2 weeks, going back online after and still getting a match immediately.
Funnily enough this happened to me one day and I thought it was my stick or that I hadn’t played in a while. Anything’s possible, unless you are Deviljin who lives on top of the server.
Devil Jin the only Ibuki player online that hits you with 3 bombs and calls it a set up.
See this only happens when I’m online. I thought it might have had to do with me using a hitbox and being lazy with the input but it’s definitely not that. I’m in central Arkansas and according to that map on the main menu, I’m surrounded by desolation. Surely not everyone I’m playing against today is evo worthy?
