FYI Smug doesn’t even like SFV and thinks the game is shit. He admitted on stream he only plays this shit for the stacks and he doesn’t even win enough major shit. If he wanted to he could easily go back to 4.
Seriously people 4 is old enough to go back too and look at it with rose tinted glasses. It’s a string legacy title that did things allot of people liked.
This basically boils down to 09ers being mad because 09ers didn’t play no other SF before 4.
Problem with Smug was that he was a character specialist in his first SF. That makes moving on super hard since he is used to a set of strategies that he liked. A lot more experienced players handled the transition a little better because needing a new main for a new game is just a part of life.
That doesn’t excuse the game from being doo doo though.
I changed alot in terms of my perspective and opinion on SFV, I used to hate it so much that even the calm monk Devil Jin was getting annoyed and calling me a debbie downer, now I like the game, and AE is gonna be ever better. lol
I am a casual gamer but this is what I think sf5 could have been in 5 phrases.

SFIV was alright eventually, I guess. SFV is also alright with room for improvement given it not even being two years old yet.
