Yeah man it totally is. I love how I can get out of real pressure midscreen by taking throws. Now that’s honest! Honestly boring as shit.
Block and take throws all day, slow paced play with nothing really building up. If appealing to the masses is the way forward I can’t wait until sf6 where wins are randomly generated to make everyone feel good about themselves.
It wouldn’t be unprecedented either when you look at gameshows these days. Many are legit random.
Why did they limit charge buffering again? Crapcom making awesome decisions like always. No charge characters top tier, nerf charging, buff high tiers, and nerf low tiers.
That’s not what they mean by charge buffer. It’s how long you can hold forward before pressing the button to still get the charge move, that time was cut in half.
Personally I like it better that way, easier to get the normals I want when I want to walk forward after down-backing rather than having to fight with the charge buffer.
I thought it was to prevent charge moves from coming out when you wanted to do a walk forward normal or a command normal. Some people were complaining about that being more annoying in this game, but was the old buffer window actually any larger than the previous games?
There are alot of times where im DB with guile and i move forward quite a bit to do stMP and then a boom comes out
I guess that change cuts that out
Honestly that’s a good thing but does that slightly increase execution as well?
the charge changes are good if you don’t understand when you should be buffering or releasing your charge.
if you did understand those things(which you should if you play a charge character) they are a nerf as they increase execution for tight charge windows(sometimes disallowing them in some cases), and also don’t allow you to pre charge as much in some situations which can create situations where you say could have had down charge for flashkick or something but won’t know.
instead of motivating players to clean up their execution, they went with the option that actively HURTS players who are good at doing high level charge stuff.
