i believe the way i did it was open big picture> settings> controller settings > uncheck ps4 configuration support

the input lag is much better now
It might have been that emergency maintenance
right after patch it was like a half second to 1 second delay
I would do my specials, lift my fingers off buttons, and then see the special come out
Now it’s good
very few matches against PS4 players still feel a bit like delay netcode
like no rollback but really really laggy
Other than that it feels good again
Except the controller problem
