The way I look at it is like they’re the least intelligent in a room full of rocket scientists. They may not be as good as others, but they’re far from bad. I don’t think there are any actual BAD characters in this game. They’re all good and viable.

Honestly fox is just too aggressive. Fang is a passive character with the option to go in. He plays him like a rushdown character with the option to play lame.

It’s not really representative of Fang imo.

He’d be better of picking Rashid or Mika

I agree. Someone on commentary (K-Brad?) said that he thought that Fang really fit SonicFox’s playstyle and I was like “Are you serious?”. Have you not been watching literally every other character that SonicFox has played in literally every other game he’s played. He goes for fast aggressive characters that involve blocking as little as possible. This is like Justin picking Rufus just to prove he can play a different style character. I’ll be very surprised if SonicFox is still playing Fang when he enters his second SFV tournament.

It’s interesting to me that there have been no Karin’s in either Cannes or Winter Brawl. She feels like a really strong character

But she requires patience, virtue and experience. And it’s one thing we don’t have right now and that’s (a lot) experience.

Karin vs Chun might be my favorite MU just because it’s a chess game. While the rest of the games I play are I-Declare-War.

I go back and forth between Karin and R. Mika and it’s CLEAR mental difference.

Point being Karin and Chun will be those characters that show longevity once we get this game in our muscle memory.

That’s a good point. Another factor could be that (at least imo) those are the two most execution heavy characters. I know that isn’t saying much in a game pretty light on execution, but it could be a factor still

For his first venture in the SF world i think sonicfox did alright. I can see him with multiple characters like he did in mkx. And it’s funny this tournament has mostly the slow walk speed characters filling out the top 8,where u at chun players?
