Has anyone here had a problem trying to use Fraps on SFV when full screened? I can’t seem to get it to work in SFV despite working in every other game I try. I don’t get a frame counter and hitting record button does nothing. I can only record footage when recording the game windowed and having fraps record desktop.
I remember back in the beta, people were saying that jump in normals only has a small bit of proximity guard. Was this actually ever proved, because it sure doesn’t seem to be the case here.
My first time playing ranked I went on a 20 winstreak. Since then the best I’ve managed is a 7 win streak. I’ve never rage quitted, I was just lucky in who I got matched with.
Interview with Kiki and Bengus, part 1 of a series apparently. I read it through google translate’s engrish. Someone should translate the whole thing, it’d make a neat article for SRK or something >_>
Bengus mentions deadlines in the interview like 3~4x
@simon_ Try using your modem in bridge mode. Google for tutorials if you don’t know what I’m talking about. It worked for me and some other guy on reddit.
And make up your mind guys. Last time Cammy required no skill because no need to play neutral and godlike divekick setups. Now she has no legit tricks but she’s easy because she whiff punishes and out-footsies you. I don’t remember anyone ever saying that back in SF4! Besides, I thought that was supposed to be the hard stuff (and there are other characters with better buttons than her anyway).
Penalties for losing are harsher now, hence more rage quitting. It’s hardly priority one, but Capcom should really eventually make ranked friendlier. I get the theory of wanting higher level people to have earned it through playing well rather than just playing a lot, but this is netplay. The rankings are always going to be dumb, because netplay is always going to be dumb. Let me have my virtual pat on the back without having to worry about it being virtually revoked minutes later.
