Nobody knew the Russian athletes were doping either. If you knew that you potentially lost an important match to some arbitrary shit you’d want to know. How rare that situation is doesn’t really come into it.
There’s most definitely quite a lot of situations like that realistically in any SF game. People would stop playing 3rd Strike completely if they worried about shit like that all day.
The situation itself is random, but there’s things you can do to mitigate having to deal with the situation to begin with. Ideally you’re only going to air throw when someone is above you not pressing a button yet any way. The trade situation would most likely only come into account during air to air trade situations and it’s not like the game has an air throw tech system.
i mean its pretty clear at this point how the game looks
good: karin, chun, bison, cammy, dhalsim
average: ryu, ken, fang, nash, vega, necalli, birdie
bad: zangief, mika, rashid
That moment you have tampa bison in a death combo while he’s on a 13 streak for the match and the game suddenly freaks the fuck out lagging mid combo making it drop and you can’t see anything for 3 seconds where he picks up the reverse death combo on you during the lag.
So is @gilley ‘s frame data the most accurate one out there? Is it fully fleshed out? I have the google doc bookmarked but wasn’t sure if that was all “final” or not, and I noticed that it’ still missing the V-trigger moves for people. Just curious on the state of it right now.
Your first combo is most likely not a combo. Dunno what character you play, but unless you counterhit I don’t know if there’s any character that can link from a cr.LP into a st.MP.
The crossup in the second scenario probably got interrupted since you hit it too high, and the guy recovered before you hit the ground.
You gotta hit your crossups fairly deep in this game or else it doesn’t combo or misses its target entirely.
I remember being so frustrated with this in the early betas because it was different than SF4 and it took me a while to get used to it. Now though I rarely mistime it.
