You can OS s.HK target combo during it. It’s meant more just for building V Gauge than heavy damage.
I’m convinced this is SNK Playmore’s doing. They spent their entire budget to fuck up Capcom’s server, this is why KOF14 graphics are so shit.

I’m all for them taking their time to fix the issues but damn, this has to be one of the worst launches in recent memory… Maybe even THE worst. I mean, let’s look at this objectively:
- Launch day itself was an unmitigated disaster, with people getting disconnected or outright being unable to log in.
- Nothing to do offline. Hardly anyone I know wants to sit grinding survival mode to get friggin colours. No arcade mode, no trials, no nothing.
- Even when it was working, the matchmaking was ridiculously inconsistent. You could be waiting anything from 30 seconds to 15 minutes for your next match. And the loading screens… Great Zeus’s beard, the goddamn loading screens.
- Battle Lounge does not work. Some have been fortunate, but for the majority invites can’t be accepted, and when by some stroke of divine grace you’re able to get into a lounge you’re disconnected almost immediately.
- Ragequitters running amok trolling the ever-living shit out of legit players because CFN has no penalty for deliberate DCs.
- Outright bizarre interface decisions… Like not having a character select screen before every match, inability to choose between character or stage themes when and where you want them, and the fact that training mode doesn’t save any of your settings.
That’s all that comes to mind, but I’m pretty sure there’s more. I think at this point this does take the cake for worst launch because with all the other games people like to compare stuff like this to, as far as I’m aware those were all fixed relatively quickly. This is a numbered entry in a FLAGSHIP FRANCHISE that Capcom desperately needs to do well and I’m sorry to say, bad word of mouth will legitimately hurt this game in the long run. It’s practically impossible to look anywhere without the game’s current state being the butt of some joke.
I’m really wondering what all the betas and stress tests were for. I’m talking waking up in a cold sweat wondering how that didn’t give them enough of a sample size to figure out what needed work before release. This is doubly frustrating because aside from all the BS I think this game is a lot of fun.
I rarely ever make long posts on any forum, ever, but I just needed to get this off my chest. I’m gonna go play Fallout or watch Netflix or some other shit.
Well on the plus side SFV has good graphics, bad servers and a incomplete game sold at full retail price don’t matter as long as the game looks good.
I SURE AM GLAD STREET FIGHTER V HAS PLENTY OF SINGLE PLAYER CONTENT AND NO TIE-INS TO THE SERVERS DURING SUCH TIMES

Those “who cares about the lack of basic shit all other fighters have we buy it for the online at launch” guys are gonna have insane time justifying this shit in the future.
I hope the media kills them for this release because honestly they deserve it. Making a game online only basically that doesnt even have basic online features like spectating and intelligent match making is a joke in 2016.
And then you dont even get the online right? This shit is seriously something they should be ashamed of.
Hell the only thing in this game that works intentionally is survivor mode.
