I’m not into Nightwish, I into more extreme stuff but this song is pretty good. Matter of fact, if you go to YouTube and search for this song plus “reaction” you’ll get a bunch of reaction videos with people losing their shit on the final minutes of the song.
Floor Jansen used to be in a one of my favorite bands called After Forever. When she joined Nightwish, her first recorded album with them failed to utilize her full vocal powers. Pretty disappointing. Pity she’s so famous NOW, she deserved much more recognition in her first band. She sings with much more force on After Forever:
I might have heard of the name before. But Germany has had an awesome underground metal scene since early 80’s. Their particular kind of raw thrash or death/thrash metal has influenced many bands throughout the world
They are also have a very strong scene of a particular branch of metal called black/thrash metal that’s dark, raw, combining aspects of thrash metal. And again, theirs is a very particular sound that have made them innovators and famous among the metal masses:
And Germany has also had a very strong old school death metal scene, I have recently discovered a lot of bands from there that have blew me away, and that have made a mark on metal history. So for that and more we salute Deutschland
