The Halloween Ryu costume is made for that mf’er to blend in the background in darker stages.
He needs it tho.

Reminds me of fuckers using red color costumes on the volcano stage on SFIV.
Good times.
And speaking of that.
Something that i dislike from Strive, is that with all the other Team Red games, they have avoided that, even when a stage is dark, you have clarity with the characters.
But with Strive we have stages like the snow one, where the clarity is robbed from the player in sake of spectacle, something that contradics the good design philosophies that have been a core to their games until now.
I honestly never played on a stage that bothered me, not even the plane stage in SFV.
What pisses me off more are absurd costumes that make the character look bigger than he actually is.
etc
I still cant deal with the Blankachan outfit. Between that and the weird way his regular jump animates, the whole thing is a disaster.
Capcom also can’t advertise their stages if everyone in CPT is picking The Grid.
This is huge for me. I need to be able to see what the hell is going on. SFIV seemed to have this problem real bad. So does MK 10-11.
Let me see my character, dammit
Remember when i asked about how good Mixer is ?
Well…
Internet services is kind of a hard thing to get into. Twitch is gonna stay on top solely from just existing.
Sort of like youtube.
People forget that the CPT, is not only about the competition and ad revenue, but also a way to promote the game.
If everyone keeps playing on the most visually boring stage, that could paint a “bad” image to possible buyers, at least in the mind of marketers and capcom.
So, of course they will ban the stage, they want the CPT to be an spectacle to help sell the game.
Remember when the devs said visual clarity was one of their priorities but also made the snow stage and hid the RISC gauge?
Where is the stream footage recorded from?
Because surely playing an online match on forgotten waterfall and the game running like crap is a worse look than playing on training stage.
Too bad about Mixer, I dislike there’s like no competition now for twitch. Staff is upset.
Okay, so Persona 4 and Persona 5 is literally the same game, except the characters are different and you’re trying to solve crimes instead of commiting them.
The fact that even the difficulty curve of the game is identical says something about this. I started completing castles in single runs at the exact same time in both games.
I’m not really complaining, I’m 20 hours in and completely absorbed, but it’s… well, they didn’t change a winning formula at all when they made Persona 5, that’s for sure.
Numbers for mixer were really bad though.
Lol, this cover for the SFIIT Nitendo players guide looks kind of like the cover of either a rap album or a christian rock band
Facebook streams are a thing.
I found out when they dumped a shit ton of money to make ZeRo stream exclusively for them instead of Twitch.
Never got to see him stream after that. Fuck Facebook.
I was looking for the parental advisory warning
P3 was at least “different” in the sense that you really had one bigass dungeon + some plot events instead of multiple ones.
The biggest changes are really the atmosphere, P4 is hella cheery. Some gameplay refinements too.
I frankly never really liked the combat and the fact that Izanagi is dogshit despite looking really cool, so I never really invested in that gigantic time sink.
Game has a lot of content though. I hope it sells well, besides my veiled interest in a P4A port. It’s a good game.
Bison is either about to spit some hot fire or start singing some Backstreet Boys nonsense. No in-between.
