The Street Fighter 3poxy Strike: Everybody at home but SF5 doesn't have Netcode

SF2 had it right. Draw games means nobody wins that round.

I had a match in SFV where we double KOd twice in a row and we both lost 1 LP.

Oh I didn’t mean to imply her middling performance was unintentional because it definitely is. Pretty sure she didn’t get “jab jab xx store” till this year? You don’t miss a buff that basic and obvious unless you’re intentionally jobbing with the patches lol.

I had that happen in rank before. You get 20FM for draw games.

I disagree with this. Yes it feels bad to lose to a long animation but it’s something you should take into account when playing the clock. It adds a layer to the low time scramble, and I say that as someone who hates time out games.

@Pertho yeah I agree nobody should get anything from a draw. Anything else is just leads to foolishness where somebody loses before they actually lost.

Edit: just rewatched that clip and the real crimes are that throw not killing and the minuscule amount of damage the first hit of that super did.

Im sad, I finally figured out how to do a “money match” league and SF5 is dead.

:frowning:

Edit: more like figured out one hurdle.

balance patch is always the case especially with new characters. They might also redesign the character select screen with the new additions

Remember when Logan-sama was calling people dumbasses because they thought the story for SFV was over, and he guaranteed there was more to come soon? Was that 3 or 2 years ago?

Well, he was technically right, DLC chars got their own individual chapters. :upside_down_face:

For real tho, after the Arcade fiasco, I got no hope for Story 2.

I’m still hella salty about Arcade.

Hope is the first step on the road of disappointments.

Ok I’ll bite, whats wrong with arcade? I’ve literally never played SFV’s arcade mode.

I can see those except story 2 unless it’s a very short one setting the foundation for SF6 story.

Nothing to be honest.

She is mid now imo.Problem is that Juri works a lot to be mid if that makes any sense.

So I guess they wanted Juri to be difficult to master and granted, she is.

I ain’t starting this over again. It is what it is.

She is my favourite character regardless.

@ me when she gets a full redesign in SF6 again

Twerking tank ?

They added arcade modes for every game on the franchise.

So instead of cutting the crap, non-canon endings to establish a proper timeline of events, they doubled down on it and made even more.

To give you perspective, Necalli’s ending is him catching Ryu right after he blew up Bison, stomping and eating him then going to snack on everyone else.

We know that shit didn’t happen, so when an arcade ending like Sagat’s V ending shows up, we don’t know if it’s legit.

Since you don’t know what Sagat’s V ending is, it’s like this:

He comes back to his village after supressing the Satsui no Hado and finds it scorched, everyone presumed dead and a bunch of armed guerrila-like dudes standing over the fire.

Sagat then kills everyone and the game states that “the satsui no hado won’t give up it’s hold so easily” or something like that.

That first part is literally Juri in a nutshell. She works harder than other other characters for less reward smh. Still not sure why she needed a huge overhaul right after her first game when she was unique and not even remotely oppressive.

Her V redesign works it’s just undertuned enough so she can’t shine.

Having that said, her 4 design was superior and unique, change was NOT needed.

I only hope her 6 redesign will be similar to 4 but I think it’s gonna be a mix.

And again @ the dude who balanced this, go fuck yourself
