Honestly, things like this make me smile. Look at how Daigo is educating these plaers, there’s no salt or malice involved and everybody sounds happy.

James Chen talked about that a few years ago when discussing Valle.

Valle doesn’t go to downback when he inputs cr.mk, he does down or downfoward. Most players crouchblock then hit a normal.

On the other hand, I personally either do it with down. (or downback when I’m fishing for Donkey Kick)

Makes it easier to buffer specials.

Do you have a headset of some kind? PlusFrames, and really everybody other than Spinnerism and me, really need to get on playing mic’ed up. I didn’t do it yesterday, but i’m not running sets with any of you guys until I can actually talk to you and start telling you why you’re getting hit in the places you are.

I’ve been playing sets with the mic on pretty much every time since we got the Discord server up.

Yeah that’s true. Pretty much everyone there that I’ve played has ran mics except for PlusFrames and Rooks.

People dont discuss technical stick stuff like that too often.

I’ve been grinding my 123 Genei Jin daily. A common mistake I was experiencing is skipping hitting the MP in the target combo. Noticed that if I held doen MP and finished doing super by pressing HP with my ring finger, consistency shot way up.

That issue wasnt really covered jn any of Yun vids I watched. But I also have an issue with properly riding the gate to do super activations in the right hand side. I’m consistenrly skipping the first downforward in the double motion when doing super cancels. Mad weird but thems the breaks.
