Different things.
Low tier trash is about their abilities on matches.
Jobbers are always jobbing in the story, see Necalli and Chun in V. Story gets no balance patches.

Alright I tried some Skullgirls online and Filia and Valentine are definitely my jam. I don’t know shit about them, but Valentine has a bad HVB and Filia had j.MP, so I think I’m in love.
Bought Skullgirls 2nd Encore on steam because it’s pretty much free right now.
Keeping my focus on 3S this week for this tourney but next week, I’ll play around with it and may get some games in with anyone who has it on Ps4 (@KingTubb) or steam.

SamSho Collection is MVS titles. They’ll most likely all be running in the same emulator framework.
SamSho6 was Atomiswave, with a PS2 home port. Which is presumably why the arcade version hasn’t been ported to anything else, while the PS2 version was ported to the PS3 PSN, then to the PS4 PSN.

Honestly I hope it’s all new characters. They’ve an almost perfect hit rate with the new characters this game, and if any of them turn out to be Ed’s we won’t have to suffer them long.
