It seems weird to schedule something fun like hobby time but when it is a hobby that requires or benefits from consistency you really do need to have some kind of plan so that you don’t get discouraged or burnt out.
Back before the world broke (and my evenings got a lot more open) I’d set aside a half hour for WC, a half hour for FG practice, and then an hour or two for whatever else was primary for me at the time. Could be more FGs, another game, painting, watching a movie, whatever.
I find if you have multiple hobbies it can be really frustrating when you look up and realize you’ve been neglecting one or more of them. I used that as motivation to sort of swing back the other way with painting but now I’m finding more of a balance so that in a given day I’m doing at least a little bit of everything I like.
On a more general note: whats everyone playing nowadays? Did the SFV online ever stabilize (fat chance but hey you never know)?
But Grid Stages are the stages you pick if you play the game.
It’s very important to pick Grid.
There is nothing to distract you and the lines make spacing easier.
the definitive modernized classic street fighter gameplay experience featuring heavy neutral and footsies, Mortal Kombat 11, gets a massive gameplay update on Tuesday
Even during my lapse period your vids are the some of the few FG channels I’ve kept up with. So I am quite well informed about Aftermath. Keep up the great work man.
I am always tempted back to MK11 but then I bounce off the NRS engine. Consider it a personal failing. Looking forward to seeing where it goes though. I’ll send my energy for Shao Kahn buffs.
NRS is plenty fine, just many people in the end dont understand its a 2d fighting game with a 3d fighting game ruleset and that breaks a lot of peoples brains in the end. Ive seen a few people once they understand it, finally begin to click with it all.
Speaking of MK ,still surprised they added Robocop and not Mileena, especially since this aftermath story expansion is altering the timeline again ( i think ) .
