He needs to make her sit through Hokuto No ken. If she doesnt like it, she aint wife material.
I actually didn’t think it was bad.
I won’t rewatch it tho, not after the last Epsiode literally build a fuckton of tension up and then just The End.

JoJo’s is great but all four seasons are world’s apart from each other.
Gonna start watching Hajime No Ippo soon. Showed a bit to my wife and she really got into it.
I think Darling in the Franxx was worse. Half the time the writers forgot how their own world works, and then the back half of the anime was just so horrid it was ridiculous.

I was always on the fence with GG. I missed the entire XX series and didn’t know what to think with Xrd. It looked fun but would it be fun was something I always thought.
And then the arcade intro showed Ram and that damn smile of hers and I desperately hoped she would be playable. The confirmation came and since then I was a fan of the series.

Oh, you’re just seeing the tip of the iceberg… Trust me, it gets much, much worse than that.
I'll try to keep it brief because I'm on mobile.
The obvious, gigantic elephant in the room is Dynamax.
Dynamax makes pretty much every single boss in the game an absolute joke.
Why is that you ask? It’s beyond broken to the point Smogon had to ban it. I repeat, a core mechanic got banned.

Why did it get banned? It’s incredibly easy to snowball the Max Move buffs into a win especially if you D-Max your own mon early in this case, because they always save their own Dynamax for last.
It gets worse though. Have you done any raids?
It’s a cool, hyped-up feature, so you probably did and realized that you don’t get direct EXP from it, only candies, so you can just go nuts with it, right?
Well, you’ll be getting some nice mons, with a couple perfect IVs to boot, but more importantly, those sweet, sweet TRs with optimized moves early in the game so you can make your mons awesome from the jump.
Meanwhile, Leaders are stuck with pathetic TMs. Seriously, look them up, iirc the strongest one is Draining Kiss, a 75BP move.
Since we’re on the subject, how about we talk about the leaders’ mons? Game Freak is still stuck with 3-4 mons for each leader, making the climactic battles in crowded stadiums short and underwhelming.
Oh and unlike Sun and Moon, they have low IV’s, bad Natures, little thematic strategy, and no EV’s.
They’re not optimized at all.
Speaking of underwhelming, have you beaten Bea yet? Let me know if she uses her G-Max Move. I’ve never seen her do it on her Gym Battle. Ever.
The Leaders’ AI is atrocious and there’s a very simple reason for that. They picked the same AI the Route 2 Youngster has. I’m dead serious. The good AI is locked behind the Battle Tower boss. These fools have the IQ of your average Ken player.
Hop is a bum and canonically free in-game too, I guarantee that by mid-game you’ll be sad that you gotta stomp his ass again. No spoilers.
And I just really covered the bosses. Do you realize how many busted mons are available in this game?
The easily accessible move reminder makes everything worse, especially for Stone Evos since you can really just evolve them ASAP woth no drawbacks.
Let me give you some examples though. Early Riolu that evolves even earlier because of the Happiness Evo changes. BW2 and XY showed that this is a terrible idea. Lucario is too strong to be available this early.
Gyarados is even worse. You can skip the Magikarp phase with the bullshit forced Exp. Share and the XP Candies. Karp comes ridiculously early because the Fishing Rod is one the earliest items in the game.
But here’s the kicker. It learns Waterfall at lv. 21. Ice Fang can be get immediately with the relearner. Crunch comes at Lv. 24.
The sheer efficiency and power that thing hasjust snaps the game in half, and Gyara is incredibly powerful under Dynamax.
These are just the difficulty issues.

Since I’m into writing, has been my longest Hobby… one I haven’t managed to get money out of sadly, even with all the hard work put in.
I tend to watch a lot of stuff… lets call it observing.
And I go into everything I watch with a clean unbiased mindset.
So I’ve came into Elfen Lied with this point of view and watched trough the entire thing from my perspective.
There was a lot of interesting stuff. But there was also a buttload of stuff that was never explained in the end or resolved. Apparently the Manga explains all my question I have left.
But I rather annoy my girl, since she says she’s an expert on that matter.
But I really disliked the ending of the entire thing, to many god forsaken question left!
I did write a full review of what interested me, since that helps me improve.
But there are to many holes in that cheese. I just don’t like inconsistency and the end of the anime was full with that.
I always got told:
“No one is playing Guilty Gear dude, the game takes no skill and is bad. SFIV is eternal dude, game is hard, it takes so much skill to be good at SFIV. Just ask Snake Eyez dude!”
