The vibrators are all part of Japanese company Tenga’s brand “iroha”, promoted on their English website as “created by women, for women”. Tenga’s various products appear to be fairly well respected, focused on function and style.

Iroha the character is named after a famous classic poem. The brand iroha was created around six years after Iroha the character. It could be named after the same poem, or something else entirely. I’d same the name (“iro ha” effective is “color is”) is reflected in the brand’s particular style of color design, but I couldn’t say whether the color design reflects the name or the name reflects the color design.

It most likely truly is a coincidence, though. The character was created about six years before the brand, and I’d say the chance of Tenga being inspired by the character is zero. (If the timeline were reversed, I’d certainly have expected SNK had been so inspired though.)

Played a little MK11 this morning just to play around, and man, I really want to love this game, but I can’t. I could go on, but I won’t. I’m happy some people do though. It’s one of my favourite franchises ever, so I’m not happy to feel this way.

Hello good sir can I interest you in some weeb fighters?

Lol, I think I’m good with ST and 3S honestly.

I just don’t like playing on my Hitbox while my wife is sleeping so I figured id play around with MK11 on pad and see if I wanted to buy DLC… I don’t lol. I did find some custom variations I liked but realized there was more to the game I didn’t like than just that.

ST and 3S on 30th right? Why don’t you guys ever play the Alpha games? Are they bad or something?

You can biy dampners for the buttons. That or make yourself some with cotton.

Surprisingly, I never played one. I don’t know why I didn’t play them as a kid - perhaps, I was too busy with MK.

I just never bothered on 30th because I love ST and 3S and didn’t the feel the need to try.

I don’t find they help that much. They just kinda change the timbre from a “clack” to a “thud” but it’s still just as loud, IMO.

Also, it’s more in my head. I don’t think my wife has ever woken up from buttons, but when I’m trying to do fast combos (short, short, super, for example) it gets noticeably louder and I can’t help but feel guilty, which takes me out of the game, so I just don’t bother.

Alpha is awesome but 3rd strike is just thing of beauty. Grew up on the PS1 ports of Alpha 2 and 3 and never played 3S, and while I don’t regret it, it sure would have been awesome to have played it back in the day.

Also glad to see you have converted to the church of Anime.

Vhozite, what fighters do you play on PS4?

The only one I have is SFV. We only have one TV so I don’t get to game on PS4 as much

@ZioSerpe Sent the fr.

Same, grew up playing the Alpha games and never touched 3rd strike. Then when I came back for SFIV everyone was talking about 3rd strike like it was the best game ever and I’m like …but…Alpha…
