The only online tournament I’ve really been watching lately are Ronin Rumble and the GBVS 10v10 and they were hype.
I think the commentators were miscast, neither J.Chen nor Rynge are “hype” guys.
As a matter of fact usually the Evo SF grandfinals commentary with Killean and Chen is the one I enjoy the least for the same reason, but in that case between the crowd and the high stakes I still get hyped.
Also Rynge seems to be funnier when he commentates anime?

When Chen tries to do hype my ears start bledding. His voice is so fucking grainy when he’s shouting off the top of his lungs. This is why he’s always paired with either Seth Killian or UltraDavid or Sajam

It’s cool hearing Daigo’s insights on the tournament. I was kinda surprised he said he was most scared to fight Fuudo’s Poison in Top 8 but it was mostly because of unfamiliarity with the character so makes sense.
Good tournament overall.

Street Fighter V updates don’t really excite me anymore :man_shrugging: I mean, I’m curious to see what will be revealed, but don’t feel hype about it.

So I can’t be disappointed no matter what.
