After playing FS for a while, i think that Valerie sucks monkey balls.
She sounds fine on paper, but evryone just runs a train on her because her tools are kind of gimped.

She’s probably the biggest feast or famine character in the game. When she works you annihilate anyone in front of you and having one of the most consistent 2 damage combos is pretty good and Chromatic Orb is a pretty consistent reversal/AA that many characters don’t have access to.

When she doesn’t work you wonder why the fuck you even bother and she pretty much auto loses to every grappler in the game.

I think if one wants to really make her work you really gotta get her nj.A down as it’s pretty much her only AA but it can often lead to 2 damage.
