The all sanwa setup is sick! And the monitor looks real good in the cabinet. Props to Bob and Arthur for all the time and effort into making a worthy SF4 setup. We all appreciate it. Can’t wait for Super!

i have concave buttons but only a couple ill keep looking see if i have any others laying around. I have the 360 version of teken 6 so i would be interested in the code if you still dont want it
i hate sanwa joysticks
stupid sanwa sticks anoy the hell out of me cant make some moves cause im so used to 360 sticks but oh well. like los said the cabinet is done just waiting to order the new 26" asus. im spending to much money to make friends happy.
Thanks to los and houdaman's donation of $20 each i was able to pay for the sticks and buttons. The tv will probably cost around $280 and i'm currently trying to set up real nice speakers and amp for better stereo sound.
I want to start tournaments and have at least 10 people show up not sure how im going to do the tournament though maybe 5-10$ per person and 75% goes to the prize i have yet to decide might do 100% cash for events.
We can do the SFIV event on other days to its not limited to just Wednesday. I'm usualy up late at night around 3-6am and am willing to keep the event going longer
Another idea i have is to start a starbase sfIV team of about 5 people and we challenge other arcades with 1 on 1 match ups and the team with the most winners on there side would win.
I would love any input on my cabinet and what you think we can do at starbase to make your sfiv exsperiance betteryea good stuff art. can’t wait for that monitor and speaker set up. i think mini tournaments would be a good idea.
Give it a month or so before you rule out whether or not you like Japanese or American sticks better. It took me about that long to get used to my HRAP after playing on Happ sticks for two years. In any case, thanks man. It’s good to know I don’t have to worry about borrowing someone else’s stick to play on.

My buddy I went to PAX with this year was cursing them too when we would play SFIV at the con or at Gameworks Seattle. He’s used to P360’s. Thing with Square Gates is if you have sloppy execution, they will bring it to the spotlight.
It takes time but lots of practice and your mind won’t even recognize the difference. I love my Happ Custom Stick, but I gotta have those corners!!
how late is the starbase open wednesdays? I don’t get out of work till 10:30, would it be worth going or not?
Yeah, I started learning sanwa on AE version of SF2 using mainly the cps3 characters. Talk about a pain in the ass! It took me a good 3-4 months to get used to them but it is worth it in the long run.
