Oh, okay thanks.
Cool vids, thanks for posting!
As far as critiques go, the one thing I noticed is that you(and others in these vids) seemed a bit super happy. Like, someone would do a super, it’d get blocked, and then the other person would immediately do their super to get the block damage. It’s a fine technique, and I probably use it too much myself. But the thing is, especially with boxer, is that by holding onto the super you effectively limit the moves that your opponent can do. And often times, this can be better than getting a bit of damage. Just something to consider…
new matches at mikado
I just had me a few strong Tequilas with Squirt and ice cubes while I watched those and really enjoyed mysel =)
Thnaks for those links!!!
Did you guys notice that link # 5 and 6 are the same. At first I thought the drinks
were getting to me:looney::looney::looney:
Any ways man, thumbs up!!!
edit
Just bumped into this. Don’t know if you guys already saw it.
oops:rofl:
Here’s a first-to-five money match between SRK member Axel Kelly (Aka Umbrellastyle) and myself from 1/18/08.
Part 1
Part 2
Good matches.
I was going to mention something about using the ducking forward but I noticed the date of the MM. Suffice to say if you play him again, you will definitely see the difference the ducking forward makes. I noticed about a dozen spots where you both poked at range and whiffed on each other. A ducking forward in those spots would have ate his poke.
Hopefully you get more matches against this guy.
Thanks, yeah I definitely should’ve used the c. mk more. If my windows movie maker is agreeable tommorow like it was today, I’ll try to post some more tournament matches from 1/18, but only about half of that tourney would be viewable since one of the tapes had issues…
I watched the seattle ranbat on preppys site. Good shit, the claw vs claw match was hilarious
Which date? A lot of the old ones are hilarious for all the wrong reasons…
We’ve only all been playing the game seriously since feb-march of last year. If the Random Select Portland vids ever come out, that is probably our highest level of play from Seattle players IMO.
I only found one ranbat on preppys. There are more?
Yeah you can find the old shitty videos by going to zachd.com, search, and typing “super turbo” in the search box, but I seriously wouldn’t recommend it. We’re only just now becoming almost decent.
I dont care that much about skill level.
DVD recorder. The ones with no hard drive are cheap and a couple of DVD RW’s and you got yourself 8+ hours of digital recording power. Easy to transfer to the PC as well. Something like DVD decrypter will copy the file to your PC and a free Divx or Xvid encoder does the rest.
What’s Preppy’s site?
This guy has a bunch of good vids I had never seen b4.
Two sets fo first-to-10 at my house on 2-9-08:
I learned a lot from both of those videos, damn I need to visit Philly…
