I started in 2010 but I’m hardly good. :\
2011 seriously, I think. Prior, I played HDR in 2010. But I played SF2 since world warrior days.
PS. I miss seeing my face when I come into this thread now. 
I started towards the end of 2011 around October or November.
Like everyone else, I messed around with the game when I was a kid. I played mostly on the SNES version, but occasionally played on arcade cabs, but it’s pretty hard to get quarters to play on arcade cabs when you’re like…8, lol. I count the date from when I started playing in tournaments.

ST players, this has always bothered me about this site. Why is it crowded by a bunch of kids at the fighting discussion board and today’s society for that matter using N words all over the place along other racial slurs posting garbage and gibberish ebonics all the time? And why have the site owner not consider to censor it?
Otoh on neo-geo.com, it is a night and day difference there.
For the record, I’m neither white nor black. I ask here because this board is a mature place to engage in discussions with older people in our 30s and 40s age groups. Many of us have kids and a wife.
However, go look at the fighting discussion board and other places, it is DISGUSTING. You’ll find kids out of control writing garbage, no manners or respect at all. It’s like visiting a Srkkk. This is terrible for American society and future generations.
Because the internet is full of e-thugs who love to argue and bitch at each other.
