Does anyone Juice Kick with :qcb: and THEN the direction you want to go? I find that a lot easier. I’ve only seen people do :uf: or whatever and then the tatsu. I can do back and straight up juice kicks like this. Whatever I try the forward jump version remains impossible. I think I’m pressing kick too soon.

The instruction booklet of the N64 version detailed the combo system. I do not recall it all anymore, but I used to do the first part of that combo. I believe it’s a parry, some EX-like move that all characters have, than a manual linker, an auto linker, another EX-like move, manual and auto linkers, and so on. The parry allowed you to use one more special linker than usual, IIRC.

Nope. I do it the traditional way. I input the jump direction, and then quickly do a :qcb: motion. I double tap the HK to get better consistency. It surprisingly works pretty well for me, especially on P2 side. I flick my wrist pretty damn hard to make sure I input the tatsu as soon as I leave the ground. Tbh, it helps to sort of mentally prepare yourself for juice kick, take a deep breath, and just go for it.
This is 100% true. It’s not even supposed to be a joke. This shit belongs in Human Physiology textbooks.
