I actually padhacked 2 controllers but apparently run of the mill PCBs are complete shit. Not nearly sensitive enough to play SF on. I threw away one padhack and ordered a Cthulhu to replace it and stuck the other padhack in the stick least likely to be played on. Live and learn, never padhacking again, just buying Toodles.
I am able to run emulator / head-to-head setups as of now on this thing. I need a splitter if I want to do spectator view but I doubt Iāll ever have that many people over at one time who want to play SF.
Pretty sick setup. But why do you have Sanwas on one side and IL parts on the other? What happens if you have 2 people who both want Sanwa, or both want IL?
Any plans to run local ranbats at your place? Itād be pretty sick if you managed to get a small local scene up and running, with recorded and/or streamed matches to boot.
Haha if 2 people both want Japanese or both American, then itāll just have to be cramped.
I would definitely run local gatherings but in my area setups have never really been the obstacle to meetups. Thereās a couple people with setups in the area that are actually better than mine (real arcade boards). We have several good ST players as well, but the schedules are very hard to align unfortunately. I figure if anything, though, my son and his friends will be able to play 4-player beat em ups or whatever.
