If there’s one concrete trend I’ve noticed with Capcom ever since the SFIV days - it’s that they ALWAYS pick the worst variants of costumes from the concept arts or straight up ignore some of the better options. Numerous CFN entries on the website also have shown this
I’m lukewarm towards Injustice, because it’s just a less violent Mortal Kombat without a block button, but compared to Tekken 7 I am super hyped.
Tekken 7 feels like it’s an old game that is out for over 2 years and I lost a lot of interest, while Injustice is fresh as fuck and is supported by the MKXL netcode.
I’ll play both, but Tekken is just something I want to have on my shelf and that’s it.
Can’t wait for arcades to die in Asia so we can have Tekken release at the same time world wide.
SFV needs weapon durability for any character that uses a weapon. Once the weapon breaks, the character loses access to the attacks associated with it. You’d then have to repair the weapon through a difficult DDR-like prompt while also fending off the opponent.
Well batgirl is the only character that really plays that way that savagely in injustice. So you got a really warped idea of how the game plays out friend!!!
Or maybe it’s because everyone’s defense sucks so the characters who have the best offense or ways to crap on the opponent’s neutral are top tier? Don’t have to worry about your own bad defense if you are constantly on offense.
Ibuki probably has one of the better defenses in the game and even she doesn’t have a great one.
