but they want 24euro for only six costumes!
compare that with the season pass price and what you get from it…or the game itself which cost 40now.

Maybe the Mika costume has a colour where she has a more respectable hair colour like Brown or Red instead of commoner Blonde.

Also where is the costume where you play as Nadeshiko instead, that happens and I play her.

The worst parts of Mika’s s.HK/charged HK are V Reversable any ways and like Froztey said, there are also options that low profile it. It’s not really high reward anymore with all of the current defensive options against it.

If getting V-Reversaled for a meterless move that combos on hit, CCs on counter hit, and puts you into a mix up situation on block is the worst of your problems, that’s not a horrible problem to have. As for the low profile, those are exceptions not the rule.

And I’ll say it again, it’s not that any one move is a problem. It’s the fact that there are a shit ton of these moves in the game along with stupid CC normals, high damage V-Triggers, and close to no defensive options that’s the problem.

The game is a mess on a mechanical level. And top players have been saying it all over the place.

I think the defensive options are fine for this game. Just a year ago the defensive options were too strong so we can’t go back and say the defensive options are too little now. That means Capcom did their job enough if opinions are opposite one way and then suddenly the other. That means people aren’t understanding the meta well enough when they shift opinions so hard.

Maybe tone down the reward on certain common CC’s and tone down the worst V Trigger offenders. Other than that the game works pretty well for itself IMO. Pressure is strong without having set play that shuts down your reversal and backdash attempts.

In general at top level play rounds and matches last way too long on average to need to buff the defensive options. Especially in a game where there aren’t a lot of tight block strings and the continued pressure is usually meter reliant. The offense isn’t strong enough where you need MORE defensive options. I guarantee the complaints come the other way about the game being too defensive as soon as that happens.

No a year ago defensive options weren’t too strong. All the top players were saying the game was very rushdown heavy.

It was random people on SRK who were saying that.

realistically, most of those moves are not going anywhere. why not propose some ideas for better defensive options instead?

I don’t think bringing back (real) meterless DPs would be enough unless they distributed them to more than just 4 characters
