Anyway, it is entirely possible that no one complained about it and that Capcom higher ups made the call after they caught wind of chants being in the music. Its possible that the music’s composer was using a sample that they were unaware of what the meaning was. Keep in mind Capcom has already made a stance when it comes to religious symbols in SF. Take a look at the Brazil stage. They replaced Jesus with a giant basketball trophy or something. They clearly dont want any controversy and made the decision to remove a controversial aspect. And guess what? Its really not a big deal.

Most likely the musicians involved with the track theme didn’t speak Arabic, so they heard it, then they thought it sounded nice.
