It’s adorable that you think that Capcom is only 70% done with MvC:I. The game looks like a last gen console title that’s been ported to Android/iOS AND they’ve already announced post-release content. It’s probably closer to 100% done. Now, the real question to ask here is whether or not that’s a 100% that anyone actually wants.
The thing is Sf5 was practically a license to print money. All they needed to do was make a godlike storymode for the casuals, throw in a whole bunch of easter eggs, extras and fan favorites and make a fighting engine the hardcores could get behind. Add some halfway decent customer support this game could have been way bigger, especially with esports behind it.
