BBCF is pretty good. Game have gotten prtty balanced since CS and the CP 1.0 Kokonoe problem imo…

I havent bought any DLC for this game and wont buy MVCI at launch until I hear serious improvements post launch.
I like Injustice 2 and dont care about extra costumes or colors enough to pay for them. I dont really fit in this thread too well lol.
I will say this strategy they have cant sustain itself for long. Look at what happened to Megaman: iconic franchise that they ran into the ground with half assed sequels. People lost interest and they lost sales, franchise has never recovered.
Capcom better learn from their own history. That’s all.

I’d be interested in somebody working out rough numbers of game edition profit vs DLC model profit. It would most likely have to have a lot of guess numbers put in, unless you could use the SF4 data and project it onto this game.
With the new game (that could still be DLC only too), everybody has to buy the game or you don’t get to play. At this stage of the games life that’s more than likely going to be 90% of the current base. With DLC, especially terrible value DLC , you’re probably looking at maybe 30%? ( I’m guessing that figure) that will buy “some” DLC.
The other thing is that with the game edition model you STILL get to do DLC, you still get to make shitty costumes and colours for profit.
I dunno, I thought it was a bad move at the time. Why break a chain that’s worked for 30 years?
I mean I’m not spending a cent ever again on SF5 because I’m voting with my wallet, but I’d have bought the new edition, you see what I mean?
Revelator doesn’t have the cutest protag out there, though.
At least Injustice 2 will save the day when the time comes.
oh I totally agree. it’s not a sustainable long-term strategy. but if they have to run their IPs into the ground to make a quick buck, they will.
The fact that they’re doing the CPT DLC the exact same way as last year means their DLC model has probably been fairly successful so far.
I’m just gonna have to mark Get Rekt because words cannot describe what I’m looking at.
