Stray hits dont turn into ToDs in either MvC1 or MvC2 as often as they do in 3. Early VS games sure, but in the other ones you’d get combos but not necessarily kills.

umvc3 just has much less stringent execution requirements, gigantic “hit spheres”, and a very loose definition of what should qualify as an otg.

Can or will doesnt change the fact you’re wrong. Good hits can convert into ToD, but random stray hits dont really turn into ToDs in mvc1, 2 or tvc.

They probably do in XvSF and maybe in MSHvsSF, but not in the aforementioned ones.

like i said watch josh360 play mvc2(or people play storm/sent), watch high level mvc1(which is hard to find), or watch high level tvc with batsu(also hard to find).

can or will are very different things dude, just because something is harder doesn’t make it impossible. It’s like saying SFV damage is way higher than 4’s cause it’s easier to do optimal stuff.

Iron Man is the only characters doing consistent ToDs but he isnt doing them from random ass buttons like killer jigglypuff mentioned mvc3 often does. People are still playing mvc1 and in that game you more likely to get chippes out than ToD by a random button.

MvC2 has Iron Man’s infinite as the only infinite that actually kills. Josh can convert from a lot of positions but he cant swing buttons at random like you can in 3.

I said probably on the other games because i cant speak for them. Nothing you’ve mentioned changes the fact that you are relying on Iron Man’s as your example as to why MvC2 is a ToD game would also make ST one too.
