the combat reminds me of mvc1 which is cool I guess but everything else looks so bland and boring from the character models to the hud and stages. There’s no stylization to make it pop.
edit: Muthafuckers got DLC costumes and characters ready but can’t even make chun and hawkeye look decent.

Cammy the gatekeeper of the top tier. Unfortunately her everything seems to have been figured out and other than getting better at doing cammy things, she isnt going to give you anything new to do.
Still on the fence about MvCI, and unfortunately (as unpopular as this may sound), I’m still not too optimistic. With all of the OTGs that you can’t roll out of to escape, more wall bounces, and relaunches, it looks to play similarly to MvC3. That being the case, this probably won’t be for me just as MvC3 wasn’t.
Was hoping they would take it a lil back to play more closely to MvC1 or MvC2, just as SFV takes it back to the Alpha games. But doesn’t look like it. Oh well, at least it’s nice to see something new and how it will evolve.
Well yes, there is indeed a lot of colours and effects happening, that I suppose is one aspect of marvel.

Not a fan of the dumbed down inputs, but it is nice to see Marvel returning to a bit of it’s slightly tamer roots. I’m not sure the “every stray hit can convert into a ToD” style of Marvel 3 is the way the series should go moving forward.
Then again, when the game’s out in the wild somebody will probably find some jank to make things into that anyway.
