I liked Street Fighter x Tekken v2013 a lot. If this is just Street Fighter x Marvel, and if there are a couple Street Fighter characters in there that I like (Hugo, Alex, Dudley, Sagat CAPCOM PLS) then I’m all over it.

If they do the FM thing for their DLC characters I’m okay with it but there’s no way I’m going to pay an extra 30 bucks or so for six additional fighters.

It kinda looks underwhelming as well. You’d think Marvel would throw a bit more money at Capcom to better represent their franchises.

What fighting game doesn’t have dlc characters at this point. What does it matter if they get announced before or after the game comes out, cause they will be coming at some point. Tekken did this also.

Unlike MVC:I where one of these DLC might be an iconic character, in T7 all the Tekken staple characters won’t be DLC, ever. The DLC characters for T7 are new characters or guest characters.
Game also actually looks visually appealling…

Regardless, DLC characters on release, fuck i hate this era of gaming.

It’s very doubtful that any X-Men character will make it to the new game. Disney has set a soft ban on X-Men because the movie licences are owned by FOX. They want those rights back so that they can make proper adaptations of the source material, like a kid friendly Deadpool and a brocom with Logan & Charles.

If they do seasons, 6 characters is too few for a Marvel game. But it seems those 6 dlc characters will be available at launch.
