I thought the general spirits fan point of view is always “if it’s not like the old games I won’t play it”?
I like this game, a lot. The new characters are just as wonderful as the returning old ones. The guys that say it’s garbage around here never come up with a reason as to why ;p
Support a Tenka tourney guys…register for Tenka at TS6!!! If not, we need someone to record matches at TS6 of Tenka casuals…then we can post them for all to see/witness!!!
Yeah, that’s true. But here, its possible to do these combos from Jump Ins and Cross Up Jump Ins. On SS2, if you try a jump in, the opponent (and I’m mostly talking about non Earthquake type characters) gets pushed back way to far and can quickly recover. Match videos on this site seem to have some Jump In to link combo to specials done:
with Kazuki I’ve linked AB off of running A on counter hit, I’ve done it off of something else too. Kazuki is just too good. It’s not that other characters can’t preform, but alot of the S- tier seems so dominant.
But Kazuki does have a glaring weakness…while the AB starter is very good(obviously the best in the game) in Ten Groove…it can be punished…by MANY things…so I love fighting Kazuki…bc he is going to have to set it up rather well against me…either play defensive and punish what I do or use it very strategically…whore it and I punish!!!
all ten starters are punishable. The lucky thing about kazuki’s is mostly it’s crazy range. I use it normally to punish or as you said I set it up. Plus you can combo it off of many of his amazing jump ins.
plus there’s kazuki having a burst of sorts, that I’ve actually used a bunch of times.
You could do jump in to link combo in SS2 also. All you had to do is walk forward
a little bit. Funny thing is some people don’t even know that genan at least could even juggle you in the air if you ever were in the slow falling animation with his
medium slash. (You wouldn’t pop back up but i’ve slashed someone 3 times with
it before they hit the ground.)
I’m talking about his A+D command while on the ground (I think it’s only on the ground) where your little ball thing hits the opponent, I’ve been saved from pounce death by this before, especially against Iroha and Mizuchi.
