Hey fubarduck,do you know exactly how the Mizuki glitch is banned? Like, could you still do pounce into command throw midscreen, since you can’t repeat? It seems hard to ban something like that. If the player does command thow -> pounce in the corner, if they want to do command throw after that as a mixup, who’s to say if they did it late enough so that it could be jumped/evaded out of or not?

Rasetsu Galford is a badass!!!
She is the only character that I know of that her Kick attacks are most used than her Slash, especially her jump Kick and crouch Kick.
But in my opinion, she is a little harder to beat final boss Gaoh since she has no good safe reach ( Damn flaming head butt grab )
This game feels more fun to play.
This ranks with my all time fav’s of SS 1 and SS 4.
Worst are SS 3 and SS 5.
Are there top tiers in this game yet, when I see tourney vids, I see people using random characters, well a little bit of Rimururu here and there, but mostly random.

You are banned from doing a pounce immediately after any command throw with Mizuki/Gaira. I guess they ruled it that way since it’s the easiest to enforce.
Of course, if you landed a normal knockdown and you go for a pounce (and your opponent doesn’t Ukemi) you could then get the guaranteed command throw afterwards if you distanced yourself correctly. However, after that command throw, you would not be able to do a pounce–just go for regular Okizeme.
To back this up, I saw one Gaira at the Spirits SBO qualifier yesterday I went to. He played exactly like I described–if he got a pounce he would do the guaranteed grab, but afterwards he didn’t pounce and just waited for the opponent to get up.
As for the tier discussion, it pretty much goes like this:
- Mina
- Iroha
- Amakusa
- Shizumaru
this makes up the S-Class, in that order. Iroha and Amakusa could arguably be switched.
Mina is widely considered the strongest character in the game. It’s believed here that if you play her “correctly”, she cannot lose. Mina has the best wake-up games in the game, and a nice meaty unblockable into super or HCF+A to boot.
Kazuki is considered A-Class, but he is matched 7-3 against Amakusa right now. Mina and Iroha probably give him the most trouble.
All of the A-Class and even most of B-Class are probably tournament-worthy characters if you can play them well enough. C-Class and below can sort of win, but they lack a lot of the safer options and damaging combos that the higher ranked characters have access to.
There is still a ton of character variety in tournaments here, and it looks like that trend will continue for a while.

How the hell do you float cancel with Shizumaru? Tigresas FAQ IMO doesnt really explain his floating at all.
How to do Mina’s UB?
Here it is… Do one of her rain arrows I call them rdp+D, do RDP+A up close to release it…now, because the Rain arrow is an OVERHEAD you can then do cr. bxxqcf+AB Super or HCF+A to combo all of it. In other words the Arrow hits high, you go low…so see=UNBLOCKABLE!!!
Now if you are far you can do the cr. df+b low foot arrow attack to hit them. But I dont think you can combo that into anything.
how do you do Mizuki grab inf?
