I put the game on my Ps2 HDD and the load times for me are 3 seconds, i timed it.

Never got the chance to play Tenka in arc. but it feels “weird.” Maybe laggy is a better word to describe it haha. Atleast it isn’t as bad as the Last Blade ports

Yep, it works great, all you need to do is enable mode 3.
You need to have normal PS2, Network adapter, and then you just plug a normal HDD into it. After that you need have the HDLoader Software on your memorycard. You can find out a lot more info/files and the ways to get the software from http://www.ps2hd.com/site/
Read up on the memorycard exploit in the forum if you dont have a modchip.
Like most PS2 ports, this one feels faster than the arcade. Besides that, it seems like a pretty accurate port so far as graphics/music go. You can even have the Japanese or American announcer, just like in the arcade.
Can you switch to english text, like story mode in english and style select?

Nicotine is tight. But I didnt’ spend much time playing him so I couldn’t tell. I really gotta read up on the grooves sense I basically didn’t use them at all.
Andrew, is really simple and his jumping C is crazy, I comboed two of them toeghther off a counter hit. haha. So much damage. and his overhead, f+B so good. you can combo off that shit, maybe into Ten-AB starter. I didn’t know how to do his super and I only did fireballs and DPS, followed by rush in a bunch and guess between low, overhead throw. This game is a footsie persons paradise, plus crazy rushdown when you get the knockdown.
The guy with the barrel, fireworks cannon thing, sucks.

Yes sadly nicotine takes damage like a bitch. and it can be hard to get them off of you. Which is his best groove? Ten or that other one everyone uses with the gold symbol. His mixup is so good, he’s got a quick run, good keep away, and the awesome overhead spirit him or low hitting spirit him.
Anyone try at the pirate guy with the mallet and flint lock? he seems sorta fun to play, I don’t know what groove would be his best as his moves are sorta slow. Calling his pirate friends as meaties is awesome. haha.
Ocha-maro isthe only reason to play this game.

Gen-an is off the fucking hook. Wan-Fu is too kick ass in this game as well.
I will tell the truth that I was not feeling the game at first but after putting in a few hours it just grew on me so much. I think this will end up being the best SS to date. Yes, Yes SS2 is still looked upon as the best by most people but if you put aside your SS2 love for a min and give this game a chance it just offers so much more. The only thing stopping this game from being the ultimate SS game ever is the lack of blood and fatalities, but I got over that after a few hours of play.
SNK Playmore are coming into their own now. NGBC is great, KOFXI looks to be great as well, and now this. Props to SNK Playmore for keeping it real and not dropping Fighting games.
