Bruce Dern drops the N bomb more effectively than any other character in any other Tarantino film.

Yeh old people are great at it. Which reminds me Michael Madsen is awful in this movie not sure if his bad acting was intentional considering what his character had to do lol.

Rambo sequel (last installment) was cancelled. FML

why?

stallone can’t walk anymore? fkn done!?

lol stallone can walk just fine. btw creed is worth seeing a few times. lol.

He said his body wasn’t up for it. I was digging the storyline of Rambo fighting a Mexican cartel in Arizona as he had been planning to. I quote Sly ā€œI don’t think Rambo likes Mexicansā€ lol

Always wanted a sequel to Son of Rambo.

Not gonna lie I’ve watched creed a couple of times and damn. Shit gets me fucking hype…

… And so sad

^

only boxing movie where the hero don’t win? good shit lol…

Creed was alrite but wasn’t any better than Balboa. Same deal same feel.

Maybe it’s me but personally I liked First Blood more than Rocky. The whole post Vietnam feeling gets me every time.

nah def not the same feel. their are sure nostalgia nods but it was def the other side of philly feel. the more underground raw feel to it.

Just watched hateful 8, thought it was a lil step back in terms of dialogue, however the story telling was perfect imo. People complaining about the pace probably never watched a western before. My dad made me watch em when I was a kid, had good naps back then lol

It’s funny but looking back on it you can see the true Oscar talent with Stallone. First Blood and Rocky 1/2 are god tier. I love em both for different reasons I couldn’t pick a fav. Wish Rambo went out with the OG ending, the sequels sucked.

I liked Stallone’s take (trying not to kill policemen in the woods, not suiciding, etc) on Rambo for First Blood but agree on sequels being horseshit (third one is unwatchable). Rocky I liked too but the John Rambo character grew up more on me. Like after the eighties, all the ā€œrole modelsā€ in movies were the ones that ā€œaren’t anything special but oh they areā€. Few times I’ve seen people valuing actual effort and accomplishments. Having a green beret being sorta respected yet cast aside kinda relates to me what happened generationally after the nineties. rant mode if it wasn’t for this shit generation where not being successful is ā€œOKā€ and most of teenagers have no aspiration or motivation in life yet, people wouldn’t be telling stories about nobodies so that it would be easier to sell tickets cause ā€œI totally identify myself with that guyā€. Take a look at the new Star Trek movies, Kirk is portrayed as the kid who never studied, kinda alcoholic, ladies man, average at studies at best. However, he is " the one" to become captain… Gtfo with the Twilight logic. OK rant mode over

Kirk actually aced all his tests that he took he was expected to enroll in Star Fleet because of his father. In J J’s Star Trek didn’t he out rank everyone else so he got the Captain’s chair by default (when the real captain got killed off and they lost a bunch of people)??

Yup J J’s Kirk is basically Batman without the training he had to do, seriously OP.

I’ve seen my fair share of Westerns, most of which were a lot better than this.
I would have been okay with the movie if was just the lodge scene, shit was actually getting done instead of the hour long exposition beforehand.

I actually liked the first half better (up to intermission)

Ugandan Expendables looks pretty legit, I can only hope Expendables 4 as this good
