hrmmm…well, it would be an awesome project to take on. i mean, it would be time consuming and would most likely not produce any results for you, but damn it would be fun…
does anyone have the wonder years complete series on dvd (bootleg)? One of my discs broke and I need a burned replacement…asap…pm me
so, is there no real wonder years dvd set, only a bootleg one?
there’s two best of’s, but thats it
i think its cause of the music
i dunno why they just don’t replace it like most tv shows end up doing
are you serious?!? that’s crazy…they did the same thing for “get a life” - rhino produced a couple eps on dvd, but thats it…
Something similar is holding back releasing further seasons of Malcom in the Middle…but I won’t jump into that.
I just watched Underworld…wasn’t as bad of a movie as I thought it was. Infact, I thought it was good.
So I was watching the credits and saw Kevin Grevioux credited as the writer of Underworld, and I was like…the guy who played Raze wrote the screenplay?
I just bought Sweeney Todd, Sleepy Hollow, and a bunch of exploitation flicks off of Amazon.
Watched Troll 2 + Rifftrax with Ne0phyte yesterday.
I concede: this film is worse/better (depending on your point of view) than Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2.
how are those rifftrax? as good as classic mst3k(comedy central and before)?
sig when you start up your distribution company i will be your acquisitions guy
awesome, i’ll bankrupt everyone in this thread
Troll 2’s so packed with killer dialogue, is there even any room for riffs? Still, I’m curious too as to whether Mike Nelson’s still got ‘it’, I liked his MST3k run a lot.
In other news, I saw [REC] this week and I really loved it. It’s getting a slow release across Europe in April, and I recommend it to any jaded fan of modern horror waiting for something at least watchable.
This is the only Rifftrax I’ve ever listened to, and it was very funny. I’m not sure how confident I’d be in stacking it up against the best of MST3K, but for what it was worth, I enjoyed it and it made me want to hear more.
i guess one more comment about no country for old men, since everyone i talk to say the same thing about the ending
how many times in real life does someone really load themselves up with a lot of weapons and go meet their destiny? the way tommy lee went out is how all of us will go out, life just doesn’t end with an action sequence
here’s a great experiment or maybe a reality tv show
take 5 directors, you each have to make a good movie with tom hanks and you have an unlimited budget
good luck
i don’t think anyone can make a good movie with tom hanks in it
i thought charlie wilson’s war was pretty good…halarious…

Charlie Wilson’s War was awesome… though to be fair, I think Philip Seymour Hoffman deserves a share of credit equal to Tom Hanksksksksss’.
joe dante did already…
ha, i loved the burbs, but i hated tom hanks in it
so yea it was good, but without hanks could of been great
i did like saving private ryan, but not bc of hanks
i just got prom night 2, hopefully its good only seen 1
guess they’re trying to capitalize on the remake
All of this Tom Hanks sucks talk reminds me of Kevin Costner, whose best performance was as a dead body in The Big Chill. I have ranted on htis before but Kevin Costner is such a horrible actor. Some of his movies are ok (The Untouchables, Robin Hood… thats about it) but not because of him. Like in his Robin Hood flick, he was just like some random bum with a mullet, not Robin Hood. I seriously just wanted the always excellent Alan Rickman to kill him. Rickman needs to be a Bond villain more than any other actor alive.
I thought Hanks was ok in Saving Private Ryan. I liked the movie but thought the modus operandi (like 10 dudes risking their lives to save one dude) was dumb.
About WW2 movies, is anyone hyped for Inglorious Bastards?
costner was not too bad in mr. brooks…
