Colossus is also much bigger then the way they portrayed him in the movie. Liberties have to be taken and I would much rather have an actor who looks bad ass like the guy they got playing Juggs.
If they stayed true to the character then he would be entirely CG which would probably not have worked.

You can’t even see a decent shot of Jugg and his helmet. Granted, I don’t think it’s the classic trash can but I would even comment on it until I can see a close up of him.
