The SRK Movie Fanatic Thread (REVIEWS, QUESTIONS, RANTS, STARS...ETC.) EVERYTHING!

I don’t mean that, I just Wiki’d “House”. There’s a 2008 film comin’ out, I’d link you but I closed it and it’s the wrong film anyway. xD

gotcha…i’ev heard they are remaking last house several different times, but i’ve never seen any conclusive proof of it.

I actually watched that movie at AFM last year…it was surprisingly decent

I saw it a while back, I remember liking it, though I do need to watch it again as we were drinking and such.

I also really want to see Martyrs now, I love any movie that pushes your buttons, bad or good ones. The first time I saw Oldboy, the ending felt like someone kicked me in the nuts.

anyone think the american version of my sassy girl will be any good?

Anyone here into Italian horror movies? I’ve been on a Lucio Fulci craze as of lately

if anyone is planning on seeing Babylon AD:

wait for the DVD directors cut IMO

was going to see it, but i’m waiting now

damn that sounds wack, i wanted to see the movie mainly cause i like sci fi flicks…oh well, i will probably see it anyway…

im outi

Roberth

I tried looking for it but couldn’t find it…I also doubt my asian wife would allow me to sell it, its one of her fav movie…

:rofl::shake:

oh yeah, I noticed that Criterion has released a new edition of SALO on dvd.

Back when they first started doing dvds, Salo was one of the first ones (spine # in the top ten) and was also one of the first to go out of print and could be found on ebay for hundreds of dollars for years afterwords.

block buster has a $10 off coupon

augappreciation

its once per account but you can keep making new accounts

used dvds are free shipping, new are ~$3 shipping

i picked up each of the horror fest dvds for $4 new

all together i got about 70 dvd’s for $200 shipped, most of them new

i picture sigley sleeping on a bed made of dvds, eating on a table made of dvds, etc

i wanna know how often he actually goes back and watches dvds he’s already seen. he uses dvd sales like most people use netflix…

more like how many of them do i actually watch

i’m so far behind i think i need to take a year off and watch 8 hours a day to catch up

if i only bought movies i rewatched my collection would be:

die hard collection, undeclared, arrested development 1-3, any romero movie, back to the future trilogy

and thats about it

do you seriously just watch every show i do?

with the wedding all of 18 days away, i’m sooooo behind on my netflix movies…

haha i think we just watch good cable tv shows (madmen, californication, weeds, i love most stuff on FX esp the shield/rescue me) and the office and how i met your mother

though i really like the terminator sarah connor chronicles even though its super cheesy. just went through the bluray in one night, couldn’t stop watching. thats my guilty pleasure TV show that has horrible writing and acting but you can’t stop watching since jericho got canceled.

oh yea sucks waiting 1 year for weeds s4 on dvd, it looks like the last two episodes are going to be epic

damn once you get married you’ll never have any time i think

we’ve been practically a married couple for the last four years…and we’re not having kids for at least 7-8 years…i’m in no rush to be a parent.

i didn’t know you were a fellow AD fan…though, i would call myself slightly more than a fan…i’m obsessed with that show…

oh yea i love that show, i try to turn people onto it just so i have an excuse to watch the entire series again

every girl i date now its like, have you seen AD? no oklets watch it

i didn’t really like it at first when s1 was on fox, but i started getting into it during season 2 then went back and enjoyed s1

think i was half watching it the first time and just didn’t give it a chance

Being in college full-time and working only part-time, I have a pretty thin wallet, so I have to be a little choosy with my collection. My criteria are basically these: can I live with just renting this on the infrequent occasion that I’d want to watch it, or must I absolutely have it? Is this a title that I’d want to watch strongly enough that I need to have it on hand? Is this title of high significance to my life?

If I had to pick any one title to save if my collection were going up in a blazing inferno, I think I’d pick Taxi Driver. That’s with the caveat that you might get a different answer out of me if I make a similar post six months down the road.

yeah, i try to turn on everyone i can to the show, but they have to be people who can get into comedies that take 2-3 watchings to fully get. when i started watching the show, i would miss episodes here and there and never get why it was so funny. then when s1 came out on dvd, i really got into it…by the end of season 2, i was a full blown addict. i can say without flinching that it is the best sitcom ever put on television.
