I don’t get why anybody who sees the writing on the wall sticks around.
I’ve been looking into exiting if the only parties to benefit from capitalism and globalist economics in America are the massive corporations and banks. Don’t get me wrong, I would love to see America do better for the citizens; but the actions of the politicians and media over the past 21 years has done nothing to give me hope for positive change.
If you’ve got offspring, or a family unit, I can see it being harder. As a single person though, I’ve come to appreciate this quote from Seneca:
When the trumpet sounds, the poor man knows that he is not being attacked; when there is a cry of “Fire,” he only seeks a way of escape, and does not ask what he can save; if the poor man must go to sea, the harbour does not resound, nor do the wharves bustle with the retinue of one individual.
If your ass can be broke anywhere. Choose where you want to be broke if you have the ability. 
It’s the means holding me back presently, and lack of marketable skills. At least in my estimation. Maybe my experience and knowledge would be valuable elsewhere in the world, but here I’m a doormat for careerist gaslighters looking for blood sacrifice to advance themselves.
That’s not to come across as self aggrandizing. Again, I recognize my position in America, and the limitations that come with that. I also recognize opportunities in America are not afforded to me due to my education and income level. It’s difficult to articulate a holistic view of the self and express humility and ambition in text.
In the meantime, I’m going to continue to try to stick to a plan. Devise further plans. And hopefully end up in a place where I can enjoy life instead of persistent anxiety over staying just over broke, and one medical catastrophe away from debt slavery. 
Not everyone is in a situation they can move for various reasons. Money usually is the lowest on the list. If I was every to move to another country it would be after my mom passed. No way I’d feel comfortable doing it before

If it’s a direct recreation of a copyright image of a character, yeah. If they do their own rendition of that character, it’s a lot less liable for action
For some reason because they’ve been doing recreations longer than I’ve been on this earth I assumed it was protected somehow.

Most of the time, no one would say anything. This just happened to get attention because it was from a high profile artist. It’s one of those “it’s not a problem until it is” kind of things.
