Shit I’m hearing from friends in Texas is NOT good. Ubers charging $200 to go down the street, Hotels charging $900+ a night, even the shitty ones. And it’s not illegal there, this is bad

What Uber charges tends to be based on stuff with the state. I make half of what normally should do in RI, that’s why I try to drive only in mass now. 20-30 min trip is now paying me like $10 but in mass that’s $20-30

I really wish I enjoyed this movie more. Seemed like such a good pairing - anime and Street Fighter 2, two things I adored back in the day. Then it comes out and is about as fun as a wet fart.
I didn’t stop to consider that the lack of story in game and the way that permitted players to craft their own view of the story would leave me cold.
Street Fighter 2 V was the better series for my money.
Yes, it challenged fans by putting the characters in street clothes, and telling an origin story before Street Fighter Zero was a thing; but it was entertaining and didn’t need to fit 16 characters into a 102 minute run time.

SF II V was OK. Didn’t need 3 whole episodes for Ryu to throw a Hadoken, though.

It’s been 20 years or so since I watched it. I don’t recall it being as unbearable as having to copy Dragonball Z episodes for people in the anime club back in the day. Now there’s a strong argument against multi-episode trash. . .
