So I found out my grandma is dead. She died in 2019 but no one told me. My friend sent me a message this morning telling me how her granny only has a few days left. So I decided to google my granny’s name. Thats how I found out. I figured she’d been dead but I was kinda also hoping/thinking that maybe she’s still alive cause you know, my family would tell me if she died. Guess they didnt think I needed to know.
I kinda assume my grandpa is dead too. I googled his name last year or the year before but never found anything on him. /shrug

My mother passed yesterday.
We knew this was coming; she had stage 4 cancer that wasn’t going to get better. As such, I’m not taking this as hard as I thought I would. Still hurts though.
And I’m about ready to body any fucking idiot who refuses to wear a mask at this point. This pandemic made everything about going to see her in these last 2 grueling months hard. She couldn’t have visitors at the hospital except for super special occasions (like signing power of attorney paperwork). She had to go to a nursing home where one could only “visit” by talking at her through the window. When she went into the hospital again, they had NO visitors. She ended up dying in that hospital with no family there to comfort her at least.

Its all good. My granny been dead for a couple years already and I kinda assumed that was the case. I’m more upset that my family didnt tell me. What kinda shit is that? So we dont get along…big deal. Least tell me my granny croaked over. Fuck man.
