Merciful Athena. I think I’ve finally discovered why you should never open separates on TVTropes considering now I’m in the middle of constantly reading five articles at once ever since this morning. Way to go, you dumbass.
Thankfully, since I’ve decided to get away from the computer for like an hour in a bit, I should be “saved”…if only for a while. Still, it additionally came at the price of becoming curious about Dominic Deegan again when I should fucking know better, especially the only non-fictional thing I “learned” was something I already knew.
Oh well.
“Funny” as in “sad that Hollywood has finally stooped as low as to steal from Goosebumps” is how I’m interpreting this sentence, for the record. It might just my surprise mechanism being out of whack, but knowing that Hollywood continues to pilfer and push stupid ideas isn’t exactly the best way to make me pull a Scream face.
To be truthful, it’s less the “killer Halloween costume” part that gets me, since that can be done properly if the Suspension of Disbelief is justified enough, than it is the inane plan involving them that makes no sense. What got me about Season of the Witch (from little of it I’m not still repressing) is that in addition to the bad guy’s plan being stupid and overly selective, it was overly elaborate too. From what I remember, the only way that you were actually in any danger was if you had one of the products that they made AND listened to the broadcast–again, how were they expecting to get away with this? Especially if the dumbass protagonist found out so easily? (Actually, I can’t remember how he even found out. Guess I’m still repressing that.)
If it was just the killer Halloween costume or the killer broadcast (…this reminds me that I still want to watch The Signal; I’m so behind on everything, but I’m digressing) by itself that killed people, then it could have been a lot scarier. However, given that it was a combination of those things in addition to happening on a night when the people it’s targeting are most likely not to be home/near a TV, it was just extremely inane.
If you liked it, then I obviously can’t change that and ultimately don’t care to convince you otherwise; just as obviously, though, I don’t share your tastes in this regard and doubt that I ever will.
Damn. The female anchor sounds like she’s trying to stop from tearing up in the middle of it.

nah, I don’t think she was there until about 2 or 3 episodes ago when Illana tried out for the cheerleader squad…where Kim(*didn’t notice until now that’s her name) was the apparent leader.
Hot cartoon characters ----this is such a tragic, unfortunate thing. As nice as they are to look at, that fleeting moment of lust is followed by some measure of sadness in the knowledge that they aren’t real. Illana scores high on the general rankings, but the #1 for me is still Lust from FMA. Nothing tops that one: [media=youtube]_qjkwovZweI&feature=related[/media] Perfection…so delicious, that one.
*and so it begins… my new Phantasy Star character “Leonard, Part 6” has been created… I can’t get enough… I’ll play this game until my PSP system actually dies… (at which point I’d simply buy another of course.)
Speaking of addiction to games, I’ve been spending a shitload of time on MGS1(original)… great voice acting, great gameplay, great everything imo… those graphics are still ass to me now… but the voice acting actually sells the characters… voice actors are complete ass in twin snakes…
That bitch Mei Ling in Twin Snakes doesn’t even sound foreign/Chinese… what in the fuck…
And those matrix style cutscenes don’t work either… Snake=/= Morpheus…
After I finish that, I guess I’ll play Mother 3 again and check out anything extra things I might have missed(Mother/Earthbound games are my crutch/addiction, never enjoyed any RPG’s like them)…
It’s a goddamn shame what happened to Rosie O’Donnell. I can’t believe I’m old enough to remember a time when she was actually funny and not a hideous godforsaken hambeast. She was charming as hell in Sleepless in Seattle.

The deals are insane, but I still think it’s not worth the hassle. I don’t plan on being anywhere near a store on “Black Friday”. That day also reminds me to be thankful that I’ve never had a job in retail so far in life. (and hopefully I never will)
*Christie Brinkley is on this infomercial for this “Total Gym” machine…niiiiice. She’s STILL hot. I also consider her to be one of the hottest blondes of all time…truly a legend. She’s probably still on the emotional/sexual rebound as well, since the divorce. (*Initiated when her husband got caught cheating several months ago. At first I thought “whaaa? Oh…I hope there’s no controversy that ultimately results in this episode or even the whole series getting censored or scaled back… I could see the typical uptight american parents getting presumably “outraged” over a hot cheerleader cartoon character shaking that azz to some “bootyshakin’ music”. (*even though she is fully clothed during the scene, it is surprising that it happened in the first place)
