I dont know about Bang. But noel seems to be kind of “not so good as everyone thought”, but hey! this is an ASW game, and if its anything like AC, she would probably be good enough to be tournament-wise

I think the most intinimating thing about Guilty Gear were the “crazy” anime-like designs. Well at least off-shores from Japan. I can’t tell how many people I have seen been “creeped” out by GG’s designs, especially Bridget.
Only people I’ve known to act like that are the people who didn’t know there was even a Street Fighter 3.
So this game isn’t gonna have RCs, FRCs, Dust Loops or anything like that?

Rapid Cancel = Roman Cancel , and you can bet that in like 2 revisions more they will add something similar to the frc (or maybe something new)

I agree generally, but in GG a lot of the defensive stuff actually WAS viable all at once. You could force “defensive mixups” in a sense - just sit there and block, or FD to push them out of range and punish, or instant block to punish somewhere in the middle. In addition to all of those, backdash, 1-frame jump, and mashing jab could all get you out of strings at different times. And then there are the character-specific reversals…
You truly had to keep all of these things in mind at the same time, and it took me years to get any kind of handle on defense in this game.
I still like the overall philosophy of Blazblue, though.
@aksysguy. Yo there’s a thread about future capcom titiles using GGPO, and it states that capcom has a multi-game license to ggpo. Does that mean BB is not eligible for GGPO? If I remember correct. You guys said “We love ponder”…

Huh? Why should BB not get GGPO just because Capcom has licensed it? Or do you mean because it has not been now? Then the obvious reason would be “because the console release is still very far away”, you actually license stuff once you need it. Just a thought.
Yeah, im assuming other companies could use ggpo-like code if they wanted to, or even ggpo itself because wouldnt the licensing be like how 3rd party games can come out for other consoles? Licensing =/= exclusivity contracts. Or, for example, how NFL used to be able to license themselves to EA and Sega and ESPN etc when now only EA has the rights.
Well like he’s said before they aren’t even planning the console release yet so I doubt there’s an answer anyways

Hmmm…Arcsystems was able to port Guilty Gear XX Accent Core + to the psp with no problem at all…could they do the same with this game?
